pounce is free to use, for personal and commercial purposes. Its GNOME Shell extension is free software under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later; the full text ships with the extension.

pounce is free to use. This license covers pounce's software (the "Software"): the
pounce and pounced programs, the Settings app, and their files. It does not cover the
GNOME Shell extension in extension/pounce@pounce.dev (installed under
share/gnome-shell/extensions/pounce@pounce.dev), which is licensed separately under the
GNU General Public License, version 2 or later; see the LICENSE file in that directory.

1. Permission. You may download, install and use the Software free of charge, on any
   number of computers, for personal and commercial purposes.

2. Redistribution. You may share unmodified copies of the official release packages,
   provided this license is included and you charge nothing for the Software itself.

3. Restrictions. Except as permitted above or by applicable law, you may not:
   a. modify the Software or create works based on it;
   b. sell, rent, lease or sublicense the Software;
   c. distribute modified copies of the Software;
   d. remove or alter this license or any copyright notice.

4. Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold. The author keeps all rights not
